One of the things that makes CONvergence unique is the powerful volunteer culture that has grown around the convention. CONvergence itself is 100% run by volunteers, from the over 200 members of the year-round convention committee to the over 800 staff and members who volunteer during the convention to make CONvergence the amazing event that it is! Another unique facet of CONvergence is its cast of mascot characters, including Connie the CONvergence robot, who you see throughout our website, publications, signage, merchandise, and more. To learn more about the CONvergence mascots, visit CONvergence Lore.
