Parking

Here you will find information about CONvergence hotel parking, on-street parking, and other parking ramps. Due to extremely limited parking availability, we encourage utilizing public transportation, taxi services, or carpooling with friends who are also attending the convention if at all feasible.

CONvergence 2024 Information Coming Soon!

Below is information from CONvergence 2023 for your reference.

Hotel Parking

Each hotel has its own parking ramp that is contracted with the hotel and charges a daily fee.

  • Hyatt Regency – $18/night special CONvergence rate for overnight guests of the Hyatt. You will get a parking ticket upon entry to the ramp; be sure to take it with you to the front desk and present it when you check in so that you will have in/out privileges and pay the $18/night rate on your room bill. Parking fees are added to your room bill, so you don’t pay on exit. Normal parking rates for non-overnight attendees vary based on length of time parked, and are listed on the Loring Garage website. If you volunteer 4 or more hours in one day, you can stop by the Volunteers Table to pick up a parking discount voucher sticker. The voucher discounts your parking to $15 for the entire day.
  • Millennium Hotel – $21/day in SP+ Parking; your parking can be connected to your Millennium hotel room
  • Hilton Minneapolis – $25/day (with in-out privileges) in 11th Street Underground Parking
  • Holiday Inn & Suites – $15/day (no in-out privileges) at the Leamington Municipal Ramp located at 1001 2nd Ave S.

Other Parking Ramps

There are other parking options that are not connected to hotels.

  • MCTC Hennepin Garage – $5/entry Located On Hennepin Ave. across from Minneapolis Community Technical College. Entrances on Hennepin Ave which has right turn only entry driving westbound, and Laurel Ave with entry from either direction. CONvergence has confirmed the MCTC Ramp will be available to the public, including weekday hours and overnights, for the entire four-days of CONvergence. (Yes, this means you can park for the entire weekend for only $5, and if you do need to leave and come back it is only $5 to park again!) For more details about parking at MCTC, visit the MCTC parking page.

On-Street Parking

All on-street parking follows the parking laws set by the City of Minneapolis, with various time restrictions set in place daily. The Minneapolis Parking website has information on how to pay at a parking meter, an interactive meter map, a video series about how to park in the city, an FAQ, and more.

We recommend using the MplsParking app to find and use on-street parking. You can also pay for your parking through the app!
