The CONvergence Dealers Room is located in the Exhibit Hall of the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis Hotel. From anime themed goods, books and other media, to collectibles, gaming accessories or corsets, CONvergence tries to fill its Dealers Room with anything and everything a science fiction or fantasy fan could want!

Do you or someone you know happen to make things that our CONvergence community would love to own?! We’re always looking for awesome new Vendors to showcase in Dealers Room! Find some basic info about applying to be a part of this great show below!

Apply here to be a part of Dealers Room at CONvergence 2024! The application will be open from July 1st until 11:59pm November 29th, 2023.

Due to overwhelming demand, we unfortunately cannot give space to every Vendor who applies for Dealers Room at CONvergence. We strive to offer our Con-goers a diverse mix of styles, mediums and subjects of available wares. Vendors will be selected based upon achieving this mix as well as other factors such as shop reviews, etc.

Having exhibited in Dealers Room at CONvergence in the past does not guarantee future participation.

• Dealers Room Basics
  • Vendors and/ or their helpers need to be present each day of the convention.
  • Acceptance emails will be sent out to selected Vendors. If possible, a waitlist will be created and used to fill any gaps until the Vendor roster is full.
  • Upon acceptance into Dealers Room, the Vendor is awarded a table(s) with linen, chairs, one CONvergence membership badge, and a number of Dealers Badges (more on those later).
  • Vendor spaces are arranged in a neat and orderly way within the Exhibit Hall that works best with that year’s selection of Vendors.
• Joint Business Applications
  • Multiple Vendors CAN share a single space within Dealers Room.
    BUT
  • Any businesses intending to share space must submit ONE application—and only one—jointly.
  • Put ALL intended sellers in the ‘Primary Contact Person’ and ‘Business Name’ sections.
  • Businesses or entities submitting multiple applications will not be considered
• On the Application
  • Vendor applications for Dealers Room are accepted only via the online application form. Emails will not be accepted as reservations or applications.
  • ALL questions on the application form must be answered. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
  • We ask for your first and second choice PREFERENCES for space size. This DOES NOT mean you get two spaces within Dealers Room. There is a limit of 1 space per selling party (however big that space ends up being).
  • Please use the Notes section on your application to request a specific space such as “along the wall.” We are unable to accommodate all requests but will do our best. If you do not request these specifications prior to the convention, we may not be able to supply them.
• If you do not submit an application prior to the deadline, you will not be a vendor during the current convention cycle.

Confirmation Process

• Vendors are selected based on wares and space available. If you have been selected, you will be notified by mail and will receive a registration link in January 2019. Payment for CONvergence Dealers Room is due at the time of registration, no later than January 15, 2019. After the deadline has passed, a list of dealers will be shared on our Dealers Room page.
• Your Dealers Table is confirmed when your online registration is completed and payment is processed. Space is limited, not all applicants will be selected, even if you’ve had a Dealers Table in the past. Vendors not selected will be notified.
• Dealers Table cost varies from year to year. Pricing for 2017 is as follows:
  • 1 Table = $185 – includes 1 membership and 2 Dealers Room badges
  • 2 Tables = $335 – includes 1 membership and 3 Dealers Room badges
  • 3 Tables = $560 – includes 1 membership and 4 Dealers Room badges
  • 2 Tables in an Island Corner = $235 – includes 1 membership and 3 Dealers Room badges
• Dealers Room badges allow the Dealers and their assistants to access the Dealers room for set up before CONvergence starts. CONvergence Memberships can be purchased before January 15, 2017 at $60/membership. After that date, the membership rises to $75.
• Registration Fees: We accept online payments only.

Dealers Badges

Along with the purchase of their space, Vendors (and their Helpers) are awarded special Dealers Badges that gain them access to the Exhibit Hall where the Dealers Room is located. Vendors will have to abide by the same registration and Covid-19 protocols as the rest of the CONvergence community in order to receive their badge(s).

• These Badges ARE NOT FULL MEMBERSHIPS to CONvergence. Dealers Badges only allow access to the Dealers Room.
• All Dealers and their Helpers MUST have badges to enter the Dealers Room at CONvergence. Badges MUST be visible upon entry to the Dealers Room. Please be patient with our volunteers managing the door.
• Dealers Badges are issued based on the number of tables in each space plus 1.
  For example, if there are two tables in your space, you get three Dealers Badges.

Logistics

• All registered Vendors MUST send in or bring along a copy of their MN ST19 Sales Tax form before setting up their space.
• The Exhibition Hall has a direct street side access door to help you load in your wares for Dealers Room. With the help of our awesome team of volunteers, we make move in (and move out) a breeze!
• Secure Storage Space: The Dealers Room is locked from convention attendees and staff when it is outside of Dealers Room operating hours. You are more than welcome to leave whatever you’d feel comfortable leaving in the Exhibit Hall. CONvergence is not responsible for lost or stolen valuables.
