Welcome to the Art Show
The CONvergence Art Show, located in Hyatt 2 Northstar A, features artwork of all kinds from across the country for you to browse and bid on in a silent auction format, as well as an art market with art available for retail purchase. Come visit the gallery and see what the artists have brought to us this year. There are always unique offerings for a wide variety of artistic tastes!
Saturday evening of the convention features a live Art Auction. Artwork that has received sufficient bids in the Art Show’s silent auction is offered for sale in a live auction format. Part of the fun is watching the antics of our auctioneers as they sell some spectacular artwork!
Please note: The Art Show does not censor artwork. Parental guidance is advised.

A guide has been put together for people who wish to purchase artwork at the auction.
The Art Show Buyer’s Guide contains a brief explanation of the different prices and bidding options. There will be copies of the guide available at the show itself.

- Sunday 11:00am – 03:00pm (Buyer Pickup)
- Sunday 03:00pm – 05:00pm (Artist Pickup)
Awards
The art show presents five different awards at the end of the show:
- Best Amateur Piece
- Best Amateur Collection
- Best Professional Piece
- Best Professional Collection
- Best in Show
These awards are judged by a jury of professional artists and knowledgeable art collectors. The results are announced at the Live Auction on Saturday night, as well as at closing ceremonies. They can also be found posted on the website after the convention.
