Day Passes are Back for CONvergence 2024

CONvergence is thrilled to announce that day passes will be available again this year! After last year’s resounding success, we have decided to continue this accessible option for single-day attendance. If you can only make it for one day, we still want to see you!

  • Day passes for Thursday, Friday, or Saturday are $75 each.
  • Day passes for Sunday are $55 each.
  • Day passes can be picked up starting at 9:00am each day.
  • Day passes will be available for purchase starting the Wednesday before CONvergence.

Remember, Guest of Honor Keith David will only be with us on Thursday this year, so if you or someone you know wants to check us out for just one day, why not make it a doozy?

For those who want to join the fun for more than 1 day, right now an adult CONvergence pass is $115 for the whole 4-day weekend. Teen passes are just $55 and Kids are $35. The prices will increase after May 15th.

Contribute to a CONvergence Community Quilt

Represent what you love about fandom and CONvergence by crafting a square for a CONvergence community quilt! Everyone is invited to submit a square. The quilt will be displayed for all to enjoy at CONvergence 2024 and beyond!

Example quilt square featuring colorful cutouts of meeples

Don’t know how to sew? No problem! Your square isn’t limited to the traditional quilting process. Pull out your Cricket, knitting needles, paint brushes, Sharpie markers, fabric glue, googly eyes, badge ribbon collection, and anything else that you would like to use to create your square.

Guidelines:

  • Must be made of or secured to a material that can be sewn. Cotton broadcloth or duck cloth/canvas are recommended, but the fiber choice is yours.
  • Panel size: 12″x12″ *
  • Finished area: 11″ x 11″ **
  • No glitter, but SHINY FABRIC is cool
  • Fabric glue and heat-bonded fabric tape are allowed (we recommend tacking pieces with a few stitches as insurance).

Please bring your finished square(s) to the April 20th or May 19th CONvergence ConCom meeting. If you can’t make a meeting, please contact CONvergence Decor to make other arrangements.

CONvergence has the right to omit any entries that go against our community standards policy – keep it clean and don’t harsh the squee! Questions? Email Amy with CONvergence Decor.

*smaller projects will be attached to a random 12″ x 12″ fabric square of our choosing
**please allow 1/2″ seam allowance for quilt construction. text and images must be at least 1/2″ from the edge or they won’t show on the final project

New Policy Regarding AI Art at CONvergence

This policy aims to prevent the sale and/or promotion of any goods or services that profit off of the theft of another artist’s work, while also allowing attendees to submit art generated by AI programs they themselves have created and trained on original art with permission.

Read the full policy on the Policies page.
