CONvergence maintains a Lost & Found on The Bridge, located on the first floor, in Nine Mile Grill, next to the DoubleTree by Hilton’s front desk.
At the Convention
If you have lost something during the convention, check with The Bridge, located on the first floor, in Nine Mile Grill, next to the DoubleTree by Hilton’s front desk, or the AuxBridge, located in the the Quinn room of the Sheraton Bloomington. If The Bridge and the AuxBridge do not have the item, they will take your information and contact you if it is found.
It does not hurt to also check the Hotel’s front desk; some people turn in found items there.
After the Convention
If you do not realize that you have lost an item until after the convention, you can contact CONvergence Operations to see if the object was brought to Lost & Found. Items can be picked up at GPS Event Horizon space, 1121 Jackson Street NE, Minneapolis, MN 55413 during the following dates and times, or alternative pickup times can be arranged.
- Sunday, July 16, 2017 4:00pm – 6:00pm
- Wednesday, July 26, 2017 7:00pm – 9:00pm
- Sunday July 30, 2017 1:00pm – 3:00pm
Items turned in to the Lost & Found during the 2017 convention will be kept until the end of the 2018 convention, at which time they will be donated to the Geek Partnership Society.
If you find something likely misplaced by another member, bring it to The Bridge, located on the first floor, in Nine Mile Grill, next to the DoubleTree by Hilton’s front desk, and CONvergence Operations will attempt to reunite the item with its owner. You will receive good karma in return.
