Located in Great Lakes C (4th Floor), Space Lounge is everything you would expect in a space lounge, and so much more. Space Lounge is unique to CONvergence. It is part lounge, part nightclub, part innovative sensory bar (no actual food or drink served), and always out of this world! The Space Lounge features comfy seating, chill music, amusements, and amazing, often interactive, decor. When you step through the Space Lounge portal, you’ll feel like you’ve left the convention hotel and have been transported right to space!

Welcome to the Space Lounge
Worried about the state of the universe? Deep in the corridors of the spaceship Hyatt Prime, you will stumble across the most transmutational bar known to fully energized beings. Become vibrant and join the resistance against the oppressive doldrums!
- Take part in arcade simulations of invaders from space
- Chill in the sonic harmonizations of only the most intergalactic DJs
- Highlight your circuits and tentacles with body paint in our blacklight district
- Record your newly bioluminescent image on our observation deck to post in your hypersocial media
- Partake of the illuminating menu at the sensory bar
Mainstage music too loud? Nowhere to sit in the parties? Spent too long on one of those terrestrial hotel chairs? Come visit a place where the lighting is lower (and we’re pretty sure the gravity is, too!)

The gravity tunnel opens to Space Lounge each night at 9:00pm. Please don your shiniest adventure garb to ensure your time with us is completely cosmogenic.

Stop by Space Lounge’s Sensory Bar for a multitude of offerings to appeal to and indulge your senses in new, surprising ways! No actual food or beverages served. It will be glowy. So, soooo glowy. Open during our evening Open Space Lounge hours.
Events & Activities
Space Lounge is at peak performance outside Earth-based solar hours, but special daylight events are not uncommon. The Space Lounge has hosted retro video game tournaments, Dalek Poetry Slams, NASA panels, electronics workshops, musical acts, carnival games, body painting, and more. Space Lounge events can all be found on the CONvergence Schedule. We look forward to seeing you IN SPACE!
