Do you love CONvergence? Do you come every year? Do you want to support the convention financially, in a sustainable way that helps make our existence more secure? Then become a CONvergence Lifetime Pass holder!

How It Works
Rather than adding a cash influx to the convention’s annual operating budget, money raised from Lifetime Pass purchases is invested in CDs through an endowment fund.
- Annual interest from the endowment will be added to the CONvergence operating budget every year.
- The money is an investment in the financial stability and longevity of our beloved convention.
- It is a revenue source of particular relevance should hard times strike again, like missing an entire year due to something like COVID-19 in 2020.
Get A Lifetime Pass
Your one-time purchase of a Lifetime Pass replaces your annual CONvergence registration every year for the rest of your life. Anyone may purchase a CONvergence Lifetime Pass for themselves or for someone else, including for kids.
- A limited number of CONvergence Lifetime Passes are available for purchase in 2025 for the special launch rate of $1,500.
- It is a one-time payment of $1,500. You will not have to pay additional money for your CONvergence badge for the rest of your life, even if registration rates increase.
- After the launch rate promotion ends, CONvergence Lifetime Passes will cost $1,700 each and may be adjusted annually in line with convention cost increases.
- A Lifetime Pass is assigned to a specific person for the duration of their lifetime.
- Lifetime Passes cannot be transferred to other people in the way year-specific passes can, even if you cannot attend that year.
- Because Lifetime Passes grant ongoing access and benefits at CONvergence for as many years as a person lives:
- All Lifetime Pass purchases are final, non-refundable, and non-transferrable.
- We encourage you to review the CONvergence Attendee Conduct Policies, event details, and full Terms and Conditions at the bottom of this page before purchasing.
Lifetime Passes for Adults
- Your Lifetime Pass grants you the same full access to the CONvergence convention as an annual Adult badge purchase, every year.
- Adults with Lifetime Passes will still need to agree to CONvergence’s annual event waiver in order to attend the convention each year. (This is true for every single person in attendance.)
- Information regarding your Lifetime Pass will be sent to you via email, so it’s important to use an email address that you regularly check.
- If you have already purchased your CONvergence 2025 badge, you or the person who purchased it can either transfer your badge to someone else, or contact CONvergence Registration for a refund. CONvergence 2025 is the only year that refunds of single-year badges will be available for lifetime pass purchasers.
Lifetime Passes for Minors
- If your child loves CONvergence, purchasing a Lifetime Pass for them now offers the most long-term savings for their many, many years of attending CONvergence in the future.
- Lifetime Passes for minors cost the same as Lifetime Passes for adults.
- Minors with Lifetime Passes are still subject to all CONvergence’s Attendee Conduct Policies regarding minors.
- All minors with Lifetime Passes must be supervised in a manner appropriate to their age and ability by an actively responsible parent, guardian, or designated adult while in convention spaces. You cannot stay in the hotel lobby while your minor child with a Lifetime Pass attends the convention.
- Lifetime Passes of minors under 16 must be picked up by or with their designated adult providing legal identification, in the same way an annual pass for a minor would be picked up.
- Minors with Lifetime passes will always be assigned a badge at the convention that is appropriate for their age. When they turn 13, they will receive a Teen badge. When they turn 18, they will receive an Adult badge.
- Each year until the minor turns 18, their parent, guardian, or designated adult will need to agree to CONvergence’s annual event waiver in order to attend the convention. (This is true for every single person in attendance.)
- After a Minor turns 18, they will have to agree to the annual event waiver that their responsible parent, guardian, or designated adult had previously, to continue utilizing their CONvergence Lifetime Pass.
- Information regarding your child’s Lifetime Pass will be sent to you via email, so it’s important to use an email address that you regularly check. After they turn 18, the email associated with their Lifetime Pass should be changed to an email address that they regularly check.
- If you have already purchased a CONvergence 2025 badge for the child, you can either transfer the badge to someone else or contact CONvergence Registration for a refund. CONvergence 2025 is the only year that refunds of single-year badges will be available for lifetime pass purchasers.

Lifetime Pass Terms and Conditions
- The CONvergence Lifetime Pass entitles the passholder to free registration for the annual CONvergence event for the lifetime of the passholder, subject to availability and to the passholder’s compliance with CONvergence terms and conditions and event rules.
- Passholders under 18 at time of Lifetime Pass purchase must provide date of birth and Responsible Adult information.
- ONLY THE PERSON WHO IS ISSUED THE LIFETIME PASS MAY USE THE PASS. All Lifetime Passes are non-transferable and non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for any credit or voucher. Event registrations secured using a Lifetime Pass are non-transferable in all circumstances. Permitting another person to use your Lifetime Pass to register is a violation of the terms and conditions and grounds for termination of your Lifetime Pass without refund.
- Lifetime Passes cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer and/or discount code unless explicitly stated otherwise in offer.
- The Lifetime Pass Passholder must comply with all applicable terms and conditions, rules, and regulations as promulgated by CONvergence from time to time, including without limitation, as set forth in these Terms and Conditions, and CONvergence Attendee Conduct Policies, etc. (“Relevant Terms”). CONvergence may, at its discretion, update or change the Relevant Terms. Current Relevant Terms will be posted on the CONvergence website, and you agree that your use of your Lifetime Pass and attendance at CONvergence events will be governed by the then-current Relevant Terms.
- At any time, if CONvergence determines in its sole discretion that you have violated, breached, and/or failed to comply with the Relevant Terms, CONvergence reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or revoke any Lifetime Pass, or deny ability to register for events to any Lifetime Passholder, without any liability to CONvergence, and WITHOUT ANY RIGHT BY YOU TO RECEIVE ANY REFUND OR CREDIT (in whole or part). Lifetime Pass Passholders, like any other attendee, may be removed from the convention for violation of Relevant Terms.
- Waiver of Liability: By registering for the CONvergence event, you agree to waive all claims you may have that may arise against CONvergence, its officers, directors, or volunteers (“Releasees”) for personal injury (including death) or property damage related to your attendance at the CONvergence event. This means that you will not be permitted to bring a lawsuit or otherwise seek compensation from the Releasees for injuries or losses sustained at or in connection with the CONvergence event. This waiver of liability does not apply to injury or loss caused by a Releasee’s reckless or intentional conduct.
- Governing Law: These Terms and Conditions, and any dispute with respect thereto, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Minnesota, United States (regardless of the laws that might otherwise govern under applicable Minnesota principles of conflicts of law). The parties agree that any lawsuit related to the Lifetime Pass may be heard exclusively in the state or federal courts in Ramsey County, Minnesota.
- Severability: If any term of these Terms and Conditions is to any extent illegal, otherwise invalid, or incapable of being enforced, such term shall be excluded to the extent of such invalidity or unenforceability; all other terms hereof shall remain in full force and effect; and, to the extent permitted and possible, the invalid or unenforceable term shall be deemed replaced by a term that is valid and enforceable and that comes closest to expressing the intention of such invalid or unenforceable term.
