Hotel Rooms

During CONvergence, rooms are available at both Hyatt Regency Minneapolis and at the Sheraton Minneapolis Convention Center. Hotel information is typically available by early March of the convention year. The link to reserve a room is typically emailed to registered attendees at the beginning of March, then published on this page after that.

Hyatt Regency Minneapolis

Hyatt Regency Minneapolis
1300 Nicollet Mall
Minneapolis, MN 55403
Phone: (612) 370-1234

The Hyatt Regency CONvergence room block is presently sold out. We will post an update if additional rooms become available at the Hyatt.

CONvergence works directly with the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis (our primary event venue) to book hotel rooms for our Guests of Honor, Invited Participants, ADA members, Dealers, and Members of the Convention Committee as best we can before releasing our hotel room block to the general membership. We make efforts to match room requests, but some room types are in greater demand than others.

  • Phone and third-party reservations will not be honored by the hotel.
  • An email with this link was sent on March 20, 2026 to all registered attendees, before the link was posted on the website.
  • If there are no rooms showing, it means the room block is full.
    • There is no wait list, but it’s common for rooms to open up ad hoc as the convention gets closer.
    • If more rooms open up, an announcement will typically be made on CONvergence’s social media accounts.

Please remember you must book all three nights, July 2–5, to reserve a room in the CONvergence room block. Not entering the correct dates can cause a message that the hotel does not have any rooms available. Want to settle in early or stay a little longer after the convention? There are some rooms available pre- and post-con too!

CONvergence Room Rates
Single/Double Occupancy: $141.00+tax
Triple Occupancy: $166.00+tax
Quadruple Occupancy: $191.00+tax

Hyatt Regency Minneapolis normally has a $2 Downtown Improvement District fee automatically added in the display rate due to the new all-in pricing laws. CONvergence does not pay this fee at this time due to when the contract was signed. So, although the rate will display at $2 more plus tax, you will be charged at the correct rate based on your occupancy.

Room Charges

Please be aware of how hotels charge credit and check/debit cards.

  • Hotel reservations must be secured with either a check/debit card or a credit card.
    • The Hyatt Regency Minneapolis and Sheraton Minneapolis Downtown Convention Center will not hold or charge any funds on any card prior to your stay.
    • It is the responsibility of the individuals booking at a different hotel to make sure they understand whether their credit cards will be charged immediately, and what the cancellation penalties may be.
  • Holds placed on cards at check-in depend on the type of card you use.
    • When checking into a hotel room with a check/debit card, the hotel will place a hold on the card equal to the full amount of the stay and possible amenities charges. A hold means that these funds will be unavailable and may appear in your online banking ledger as a “pending transaction”. The hold will be released and the final amount of your stay will be charged to your check/debit card upon check-out.
    • When checking into a hotel room with a credit card, the hotel will not hold any funds. The final amount of your stay will be charged to your credit card upon check-out.
  • Please be sure to check in on the date you chose. Failure to do so will result in the first night of your stay being charged to your credit card and cancellation of the reservation. Once cancelled, CONvergence cannot salvage your reservation.

Cancellation

You are able to cancel a reservation prior to the conference as long as appropriate notice is provided to the hotel (72-hour notice prior to day of check-in for the Hyatt Regency, and 48 hour notice prior to check-in for the Sheraton Downtown Minneapolis Convention Center.)  Notice of open rooms due to cancellations will be provided on CONvergence’s social media accounts and may also be posted on this page.
