The CONvergence Book Swap is a great place to pass along books for all ages when you’re ready to find them a new home or you just want to find something new to read! Leave a book, take a book – it’s FREE!
Location
The CONvergence Book Swap is is located on the 6th floor promenade alcove. Take a left at the elevator and look for signage.
There are Book Nooks scattered throughout CONvergence, so keep your eyes peeled when you’re visiting other departments for themed Book Swap outposts!

- Paperback books
- Anime/manga books
- Graphic novels
- Comic books
- Children’s books
We request that technical items and pornography not be donated.
Drop Off Books
Books can be dropped off at Book Swap throughout CONvergence, from opening 10:00am on Thursday until closing noon on Sunday – if you have a large donation please drop it off on Thursday before noon or Sunday before noon so a volunteer can help keep Book Swap tidy and organized. Otherwise, please contact Book Swap to arrange an alternate time (or if you have any questions about donation) at bookswap@convergence-con.org.
We love the enthusiasm you all show for reading and would love to spread that passion to a wider audience, so please consider bringing some children’s and young adult books to the swap this year!
Blind Date With a Book
Ever tempted to judge a book by its cover? Try a Book Swap Blind Date with a Book! Choose from a selection of books wrapped in paper with some brief story elements written on the front. Pick something that sounds interesting and enjoy!
Blind Date with a Book with be available sporadically throughout the convention so be sure to check back (and the Book Nooks) for new selections.
Coloring Contest
New to CONvergence 2025: That’s How We Roll is a Coloring Contest organized in partnership with Connie’s Quantum Sandbox. Stop by the kickoff event at 11:00am Thursday in Sandbox to learn more, or stop by Sandbox or Book Swap throughout the convention to participate!
