Quantum Sandbox Needs Supplies

Connie’s Quantum Sandbox is looking for a few donated supplies. We don’t want anyone to go to the trouble of buying anything for us - unless you want to, of course. If you happen to be clearing off your craft or tinkerers bench, we would like to have some of the stuff you don’t want anymore. Please contact: sandbox@convergence-con.org to make a donation. Sorry, we are not accepting fabric this year.

Textiles: Used T-shirts- clean, in good shape , with or without graphics, sizes youth - adult 4x, White socks, mismatched or in pairs, adult sizes are better.

Jewelry supplies: Broken Jewelry, Cheap Rhinestones, Plastic beads, Glass beads, Glass seed beads, Brass Stampings, Jewelry findings and tools.

Craft supplies: Origami paper, Craft foam, Glitter, Plastic Lace, Rattail, Lanyard, Craft Wire, Craft sticks, Glue, Glue Sticks, Craft sticks, Glue, Glue Sticks, Ribbon, Yarn (lots of yarn!), String, Rubber Bands, Masking tape, Duct tape, gray or colored.

Specialty Items: Balloon Pumps, Knitting needles sizes 8 & 10, Box cutters, Wire cutters.

And other basic crafty items

Junk:

Clean (small) mechanical model supplies - wheels, gears, struts, tubing, etc.

Clean extra model parts from models that either won’t get made or didn’t get made

Safe lab supplies - glassware, test tube holders, stands, rings, tubing (no chemicals or contaminated stuff please)

If you donate any machinery for parts (we will do a small amount of disassembly) - it must be clean, light enough (FOR MY DAUGHTER) to pick up (that 1969 Toyota is cool and full of parts, but we don’t want it) and we WILL DESTROY IT. Be sure you don’t want to see it again.
