Sci-Fi Short Stories Wanted!

A message from our friends at Sci-Fi Twin Cities Anthology:
Sci-Fi is a disregarded genre. We believe this is because it asks the reader to think of the future. As a result it strives to shape our expectations, creating our dreams and nightmares; the best and the worst. We are a group of editors and illustrators looking to publish an anthology of sci-fi with a hyper-local bent. We want stories of a future-scape in the Twin Cities, written by the people of the Twin Cities. When we are done, we will have a collection of visions of what our metro area could become. The completed anthology will be distributed on demand allowing us to share the dream of the future without the overhead of brick and mortar stores.

If you are a Sci-Fi writer in the Twin Cities area please send us your short stories of the future. We promise to give every contributor feedback on their submission. Additionally we already have illustrators and a distribution model. That means seeing your work in print in cased with awesome interpretive art! If you could spread the word on the project we would greatly appreciate hearing from the Twin Cities futurists!

Submission Deadline: June 15th, 2010

Compensation: This is an act of love for us, and so though we will get submissions distributed/published we cannot pay at this time. We want to see the Twin Cities of tomorrow, and hope you do too. Please send submissions in .doc format to KitCmartin@gmail.com.
