Good news!

We are pleased to report that except for cabana party rooms, all reservation confirmations have gone out from the Sheraton. Once again, you want to look for an email from donotreply@starwoodhotels.com. If you have such an email, please read and be certain to follow the instructions contained within.

If you believe you should have received a confirmation and have not, please check spam filters and junk email boxes first. If you still do not have a confirmation, please contact hotel@convergence-con.org and we will be glad to help you.

When guaranteeing your room, please do not call the 800 number, or follow the automated menu system when calling the Bloomington Sheraton directly. The 800 number operators have no access to the CONvergence room block, and hence cannot take credit card numbers or even change any part of your reservation, including cancellations.

All changes to reservations must go through the CONvergence hotel team at hotel@convergence-con.org.

We are referring all new requests for rooms to the Sofitel, which is located directly across the street from the Sheraton. Please note that the Sofitel is offering a rate comparable to the rate at the Sheraton.

The Sofitel can be reached by dialing (952) 835-1900. Be sure to request the CONvergence rate.

The convention dates for 2010 are Thursday July 1, Friday July 2, Saturday July 3, and Sunday July 4.
