CONvergence to spin off from MISFITS

The CONvergence convention is to be spun off from its parent organization The Minnesota Society for Interest in Science Fiction and Fantasy into an autonomous organization. The Society will retain all the MISFITS programs, branding and corporate identity, while CONvergence will create a new corporate identity and will continue to support The Society and MISFITS with money and venue space. While a major change, this is largely a change effecting behind-the-scenes organization and should not have a significant impact on attendees and participants in CONvergence and MISFITS clubs and events.
