June 20, 2009 is approaching! What does that mean? Many have received a confirmation letter from the Sheraton advising that rooms need to be guaranteed by June 20 to lock in the reservation and the convention rate.

If you have not received such a letter, please, please, please check spam filters and junk files. The letters came from either "donotreply@starwoodhotels.com" or "unknown sender @ starwoodhotels", and the subject header reads "your reservation confirmation". If you are absolutely certain you cannot find or did not receive a confirmation, please contact hotel@convergence-con.org - we probably have a copy or at least know what your confirmation number is.

Now, if you DO have such a letter and still need to guarantee your room, PLEASE USE THE CONTACT NUMBER LISTED IN THE LETTER. If there is no number listed, please call the hotel directly at (952) 835-7800. If you call and are given the automated option to transfer to the Reservations Department ("Please dial 1"), do NOT use that option. Doing so will forward you to the 800 phone bank reservation line and they can’t do anything for you. You want to ask for Jadee in the In-House Group Reservations Department.
