CONvergence 2008 Hotel Reservations

For 9 of the 10 years of CONvergence, we have been n the Sheraton Bloomington, formerly the Radisson Hotel South. One again in 2008 we are poised to fully occupy the Sheraton Bloomington, excepting rooms they withhold to honor a long-term contract. And as always, the Sheraton staff is delighted and excited to have the merged families together again.

In September we began sending email notices out to who had submitted room requests (and had provided an email address) confirming that the CONvergence Hotel Department had received their request. This may not have included party hosts on either their sleeping room or party room requests. If you believe you turned in a form at the convention and did not receive such an email, it is possible that we did not get a form from you or your form did not provide an email address. In any case, please feel free to contact hotel@convergence-con.org.

All requests will be forwarded to the hotel in December. We are working to make that a firm time frame. Note that such forms will include those received prior to Nov. 15, 2007, but possibly not any after that date. Our hope is that all Sheraton confirmations will be emailed or snail-mailed out by December 25. At that point, we move forward with more room requests, assignments and confirmations until June 30, more or less. As always, please let us know if you have any questions.
