Annual Theme

The offical slogan of CONvergence 2008 is "Party like it’s 1999," which is a reference to our first convention back in 1999 which had the slogan "After all, it’s just a party!" But in spite of that, and all the hoopla surrounding our tenth year, people are asking "What’s the theme?" It’s not surprising, since CONvergence has a history of doing a lot with our annual convention themes. Between the facade in front of mainstage, to the theme-related focus in our programming and parties, our themes lend each year of CONvergence a unique flavor. So what’s the theme for 2008?

All of them. That’s right. In addition to our 2008 convention being a celebration of our tenth year of CONvergence, all of our past years’ themes will be in play. What were all those themes again? We’re glad you asked...
