MISFITS Writing Contest 2006 Results
For eight years, MISFITS has sponsored a writing contest with divisions for both adult and juvenile writers. Winning entries are published and distributed at CONvergence. Our judges for the 2006 edition of our Writing Contest were Joel Arnold, Charlotte Nickerson and Jody Wurl.
The Scott Imes Award: MISFITS premier award proudly honors Scott Imes, a major force in the Twin Cities' science fiction reading and writing community, who passed away in December 2001. For over two decades, Scott worked at Uncle Hugo's Science Fiction Bookstore; his recommendations served those far beyond its doors.
