Reminder on Badge Sharing

Badge sharing is not allowed at CONvergence. Each attendee is expected to purchase her or his own membership. The sharing of badges could lead to immediate ejection from the convention and possible legal remedies. Both parties involved with badge sharing will be escorted to to the Operations Bridge right away. A determination will then be made to either charge the at-the-door rate, or if the parties involved will be asked to leave the convention.

Each attendee is required to have her or his convention badge on them at all times, even when in costume. Please be aware that if you are in conventions space, and a badge is not readily visible, you may be asked to produce one. If no badge is available, you will be asked to please secure a badge to your person immediately. In most cases, that simply entails returning to your room and retrieving same. However, if you are required to purchase a badge, it will have to be at the current at-the-door rate of $55.00.
