Smoking Allowed in 2005 Consuite

For those who may not have heard, Bloomington Minnesota and Hennepin County, where the hotel resides will be going non-smoking in spring of 2005.

NewsFlash - Smoking is still allowed!

We are going to try to have a self-policing system for the smoking consuite main room...a fireproof container to dump ashes, and sundry light cleaning supplies for ashy-tables. Feedback we received from 2004 indicate that this room is displeasingly messy. We do not want a pigsty, and for health reasons, consuite staff is not always willing to brave the clouds to clean up as regularly as the food areas. It comes down to this...if smokers can’t keep their area to something resembling clean, we won’t have a smokers room in 2006, smoking ban not withstanding.

Remember...we’re all volunteers, and dumping your ashes can give you a little warm cigarette ember of the warm-fuzzies we get from making a great Consuite.
