New Parties Heads

For CONvergence 2005, our Parties Department has new heads. Facilities Division Director Ishmael Williams expresses deep and eternal gratitude to Amanda Gordon, outgoing Head. Amanda has elected to pursue other interests for now and has stepped down. She is lauded for the wonderful work she did for the 2004 convention.

Stepping up to the plate are the dynamic team of Bridget Kromhout and Samantha Thomas. Lately, and still, part of the Dystopia party, they are very enthusiastic and energetic and very much looking forward to working with the parties at the convention.

Because of this change, we are a little delayed in contacting those folks who have submitted parties forms, but that work will begin within the next 2 weeks. Welcome to Bridget and Samantha!

The CONvergence 2005 party block is getting into full swing, but we still have rooms available. If you're interested in hosting a party at CONvergence 2005 feel free to fill out a hotel room request form and send along a description of your party, or you can contact us at parties@convergence-con.org.
