Hotel Update

Time is running out. But, the Sheraton has agreed to extend the cut-off date for securing the convention room rate another 2 weeks. There are still rooms left, but not many. Act now so you don't miss a minute of the fun that is CONvergence 2004.

For many of you, hotel confirmations have been sent and received. Hopefully they are confirming the accommodations you requested. If not, please contact the hotel department at hotel@convergence-con.org. Please note that the hotel is referring all changes to reservations to the convention's hotel department as well.

Many confirmations have gone out from the hotel. Most of these say to please guarantee your room by 6 \ 5 \ 04, midnight. Trouble is 6 \ 5 \ 04 is a Saturday. Please do not worry. the date was chosen based on the last two years when the 5th of June was a week-day. We and the hotel simply failed to consult a calendar before revising the confirmation letters. Simply wait until the first available business day and call the hotel, ask for In-House reservations, and guarantee your room. Please remember to specify In-House Reservations as the national 800 number can't do anything for you.
