New Guests Announced for 2002

CONvergence has a tradition of great guests who really enjoy spending time with our attendees. This year looks to be no exception. We've added two more guests to our 2002 roster.

Adam 'Mojo' Lebowitz

Mojo has recently gone independent after more than a decade as lead animation supervisor with Foundation Imaging, where he provided visual effects work for Babylon 5 and Star Trek: Voyager. He contributed to the new effects work to the recent Director's Cut of Star Trek: The Motion Picture.

Mojo is the author of Star Trek: Starship Spotter and created the images for the Star Trek 'Ships of the Line' calender. Mojo was also a producer of the long-awaited Buckaroo Banzai DVD, and directed the 1999 Buckaroo Banzai CGI trailer, produced to promote a new Buckaroo TV series.

Daren R. Dochterman

Daren is a designer and illustrator who has done concept art and storyboards for over 35 feature films including The Abyss, Sleepless in Seattle, Deep Blue Sea, Addams Family Values, and How the Grinch Stole Christmas.

For six years he was co-host of the nationally heard radio show Talk Trek. Last year he served as Visual Effects Supervisor on the Director's Edition of Star Trek - The Motion Picture. He also has a cameo role in the film Free Enterprise and can also be seen (but not heard) in the film Trekkies. His monthly humorous movie poster artwork Not Coming Soon is seen in Cinescape magazine.
