Cabana Party Rooms are Full

We are pleased to announce that we have filled all of the available cabanas on the first and second floor surrounding poolside/garden court at the Radisson South.  Be prepared for a truly amazing line-up of parties brought to you by many of the fabulous groups and clubs from regional fandom.

If you want to have a party at CONvergence 2001 and don't yet have a room, we still ask that you please contact us.  Parties can be held in other rooms of the hotel, and a listing in our parties guide will help attending members learn about your party and where to find it.  Also, while it doesn't happen often, there is always the possibility of a last minute cancellation that would make a cabana available again.

New Gaming Crew in Place

Back on May 1 we sent out the word that we needed additional help to run our gaming room at CONvergence this year. We now have a new team in place to organize gaming events at the convention. The names and positions of the new team are listed below.

We are still looking for additional help work with Live Action Role-Playing (LARPs) and Role-Playing Games (RPGs). If you would like to help with CONvergence gaming, or perhaps in running a game, please contact division head Tim Wick at Odison@aol.com.
