Christian Colquhoun - Physical Effects Artist

CONvergence is pleased to welcome physical effects artist Christian Colquhoun as a Guest of Honor at CONvergence 2004.

Christian has been either taking things apart, putting things together, or creating things ever since he can remember, starting in the film industry at a summer job when he was 19. He has been building mechanical special effects, miniatures, animatronics, props and costumes for film, television and stage ever since.

Currently Christian works at Applied Effects in Culver City, California. He has previously worked at such luminous facilities as Boss Film Studio, Stetson Visual Services, Digital Domain, Amalgamated Dynamics, and Stan Winston Studio, where he garnered credits on such great films as Terminator 2, True Lies, Galaxy Quest, Lost World: Jurassic Park II, Robocop, and many others.
