Art Gallery

Artwork has been one of the most distinctive ways CONvergence has established its identity and promoted itself. The vast majority of the artwork featured in CONvergence publications and merchandise has been by Publications Director Christopher Jones. The intent in so predominantly featuring the work of a single artist has been to give CONvergence Publications and Merchandise a consistent and cohesive look. It was hoped that this approach would more effectively establish CONvergence's visual identity as a new convention. Judging from the response, it seems to have worked!

As time goes by, more and more artwork will come from other sources, and you can see the beginnings of this trend in our Guest Artists section.

Connie is the official CONvergence mascot, and has proven quite popular. She has appeared in CONvergence publications and on countless buttons, flyers and T-shirts, sometimes as herself but often dressed up as a favorite character from Science Fiction and Fantasy. Here are some highlights...
