CONvergence 2000
July 7,8,9, 2000
St. Paul Radisson Hotel
St. Paul, Minnesota
We know there is no way to please everyone, but it seems like we managed to please a lot of people. The one thing we would ask is if you really felt the convention was poorly organized, tell us why. We can't fix generalities, but we can try to address specific problems.
For our own part, we are proud of the organization shown across the board by everyone working on the con. Every year will have its own unique challenges and crises, some of which can be planned for, others of which can’t. We feel that our team did a great job coping with problems as they arose and pulled off a great convention in the face of some significant adversity.
Not everything went off exactly as planned, but with something this big there is no way it ever will. The best we can hope to do is deal with the unexpected as efficiently as we possibly can.

Please note that this is not intended to be a fully detailed breakout of the convention's finances, but rather a general indication of where the money was spent and where we get it back. If you want more detail, please contact the Finance Division.
