We are, of course, returning to the Sheraton Bloomington Hotel (formerly known as the Radisson South) in Bloomington, MN. They enjoy having us there and certainly meet our needs well, so we hope to remain there for the foreseeable future. The Sheraton is located on the corner of 494 and 100:

CONvergence room rates for this year are

Basic sleeping rooms are $104.00 per night plus tax
Poolside cabanas are $129.00 per night plus tax

Please contact the CONvergence Hotel Team for other rates as needed.

CONvergence continues to handle room requests, so if you would like to reserve a hotel room for CONvergence, please fill out and send in the Hotel Room Request Form (you can also download a pdf version of this form). Send NO money at this time. As always, payment for your hotel room is between you and the Sheraton Bloomington Hotel. CONvergence merely oversees the allocation of rooms.

Room reservation confirmations will be sent by the hotel. When hotel confirmations are received, we ask that you review them carefully to ensure that the information contained is accurate, and that you advise CONvergence of any necessary changes.

Once your room reservation has been confirmed to be accurate, please contact the hotel to guarantee your reservation by credit card or by sending in a deposit. If using a credit card, you will not be charged for anything until you check out. If sending a deposit, it will be refunded in the event of a cancellation 5 days or more prior to check-in.

Remember that with few exceptions, poolside cabanas are reserved for room parties, and a party request must accompany the room request. If you are holding a party in a room elsewhere in the hotel but want to be included in the party listing, please be sure to submit a party request. This can be done on the same form as the room reservation request.

BULLETIN: Sheraton Hotel: Non - smoking!

The CONvergence Hotel Team has learned that effective October 2008 the Sheraton Bloomington Minneapolis Hotel, the home of CONvergence, will go totally non-smoking. The last 20 smoking rooms will be eliminated, and changed into non-smoking rooms. This will make the insides of the entire hotel smoke-free. There will still be outside smoking areas provided at the East, North and South entrances, 25 feet away from the entry doors. As a result, we HAVE eliminated the Smoking \ No Smoking request options from the hotel request forms.
