Lets bring Jonathan Coulton to CONvergence 2009

With the convention around the corner, we know many of you will be posting pictures to websites like Flickr, and using services like twitter or livejournal to record what you're doing. To help everyone find these messages, we encourage you to use the tag CVG2008 to mark entries related to the convention on whatever services you are using.

For those of you who were interested in helping out with facade and construction-y stuff, there are a couple of projects happening:

CONvergence Marketing Director Jeremy Stomberg will be stepping down after the 2008 convention, after serving in that position since the founding of the convention. He had previously announced his intention not to run for another two year term, following the completion of his current term which would run through the 2009 convention.

Since 2004, the Dorian Gray Memorial Literary Lounge (Room 2201, 22nd Floor South Tower) has sponsored its book library that accepts donations of books from the fan community and allows you to take a few home with you at the end of the weekend.
