The Misfits Silent Auction is a Fundraising event that takes place every year at Convergence, any money raised at the Silent Auction goes to fund the many community and Educational activities that MISFITS involves itself in throughout the year. In 2006 the Silent Auction Room and Guest Memorabilia in the Art Auction made over $2000 for our parent organization, MISFITS. We could not have gotten such a wonderful total without the generosity of the Convergence Membership in both the giving of donations and the bidding on them.

Some of the big sellers in 2006 were: A replica of Mal’s Gun from the popular TV show Serenity, A subscription to Bean’s Universe an interactive online magazine, A movie crew only Monster House T-shirt, A signed photo of Farscape actress Gigi Edgley. And a Custom Made Serenity Brown coat made by Dream Stitcher Costumes.

We are always on the lookout for more donations, signed collectibles, as well as fan and science fiction memorabilia, signed books and Posters are just some of what we hope for. Already collected for 2007 we have a Tribble, a Roaring Godzilla Plush, Manual Typewriter from the estate of Gordon R. Dickson, Framed - Numbered - Print by Artist LA Williams Titled "Aureus Spiritus", signed Photo of Patricia Tallman as Leeta Alexander from Babylon 5 and much, much more...

We are also looking for things we use in our room, such as, gallon water jugs, display blocks and stands, and plastic poster covers.

PLEASE NOTE: The Silent Auction will no longer be accepting general subject USED video tapes.

Bids on items in the upcoming 2007 auction will be accepted Friday and Saturday at the convention. Winners will be posted after auction end late Saturday night. Items won may be picked up in Atrium 1 on Sunday. Silent Auction Rules and Hours will be posted in Atrium 1 during convention.
