The Dorian Gray Memorial Literary Lounge

"You are a wonderful creation. You know more than you think you know, just as you know less than you want to know."
- Oscar Wilde, The Picture of Dorian Gray

If you're longing for a quiet moment to reflect upon the musings of poets and authors - there's a posh lounge hidden away on the 22nd floor. Sink into one of the comfy couches or plush chairs and allow our guests of honor or local authors to pull you into another reality. We've got several intimate readings scheduled this year that are not to be missed.

In addition to guest readings and the always popular writing workshops, we've got poetry slams, a book release party, a young adult readers discussion group, a story telling slam and a late night candle light discussion about zombies in fiction. Be sure to check out the schedule for details!

Become an honorary conservator by contributing to the Lit Lounge Book Exchange. Bring all the books you'd like to pass along and pick up something new to read. If you'd like to donate books to the Lit Lounge Book Exchange before the convention, please contact literarylounge@convergence-con.org.

Have a suggestion for a local author you’d like to see give a reading? Let us know how we can contact them!

Please feel free to volunteer in helping out by contacting the Lounge’s co-heads, Tangee Harrison and Jody Wurl at literarylounge@convergence-con.org.

We’ll see you there!
