Parties

So, you want to hold a room party at CONvergence 2008? Fabulous! Registered parties occupy specific party zones and receive con-provided goodies and a guidebook entry. Space is limited, so reserve your spot today!

To register a party, start by emailing parties@convergence-con.org. You should have at least two party hosts on board and a clearly-defined theme. If it sounds like your idea will work, we'll send you the registration forms. Please note that we reserve the right to refuse party space to anyone at our discretion.

Please do not send paper party forms via postal mail. The chances of them getting to the Parties Department in a timely fashion are very low. Email is preferable.

All party floors are entirely non-smoking. Please make your plans accordingly.

While it's theoretically possible to sleep on a party floor, they are typically loud until after the sun rises. We recommend you reserve additional sleeping space elsewhere by contacting hotel@convergence-con.org.

Current and prospective party hosts will want to read the 2008 CONvergence Parties Manual. It contains a wealth of useful tips, deadlines, and rules.
