Art Show
The art show features art submitted by artists from all over the country. Every year brings new and different art to the show, so there is always something interesting to see. The art is displayed for sale to the convention membership via an auction system. If enough bids are placed on an item, it goes to the voice auction on Saturday night.
The CONvergence Art Show would like to that all the artists who submitted works to the 2009 Art Show,
and to those who supported them by bidding on artwork.

Visitors to the art show were invited to vote and awards were given a variety of categories. The 2009
Art Show awards were given as follows:
- Best Amateur Artist: Christopher Doyle
- Best Professional Artist: Jesse Haug
- Best Amateur Piece: Ben Allen - Thor and Jormundgand
- Best Professional Piece: Danielle Pebbles - Into the Woods
- Best in Show: Christine Mitzuk - Dragon Mural

We are constantly trying to improve the art show, both for the artists, and the patrons. If you can think of any way we might be able to improve the show, please let us know. We'll see what we can make happen. Not all suggestions are possible (we wish we could take credit cards just as much as you do), but we will discuss any suggestions we receive and see what we can do.
The show is entirely run by volunteers, so we are always looking for help running the show. If you are interested in helping out, please drop us an email at artshow@convergence-con.org.
